The TCC Roper Center is located in the heart of Downtown Norfolk at 340 Granby Street, on the campus of Tidewater Community College. Just blocks from the Norfolk waterfront, The Roper is easily accessible from I-264 and I-464, by Tide Light Rail, and within walking distance of most downtown hotels. We are situated within a block of MacArthur Mall, between Freemason Street and College Place.  Look for our marquee on the east side of Granby Street. DIRECTIONS

Ticket windows in our historic lobby open one hour before performances.  Advance tickets to most shows are available on line, by phone at 757 822-1452 or at the theater by appointment only. Please note that convenience charges apply to both on-line and telephone sales.

Free events, unless noted otherwise, are not ticketed. Seats are available on a first-come basis. To get your choice of seats, we advise arriving 30 minutes before showtime. SEE ALL EVENTS

Seating up to 900 guests in plush comfort, no seat is more than 80 feet from the stage.  From the front row to the gilded box seats to the mezzanine, there literally isn’t a bad seat in the house.

Tidewater Community College’s Roper Performing Arts Center is conveniently located in downtown Norfolk within one block of MacArthur Center’s north garage and a number of city parking facilities including the Freemason and Bank Street Garages.  It is also located within steps of The Tide’s Freemason light rail station. Surrounding The Roper are shopping and dining options to complete the experience.
